SpaceX je predstavio ambiciozan plan za dvogodišnju misiju koja bi privatnu posadu odvela u let oko Marsa bez sletanja, koristeći gigant raketu Starship. Za vođu misije kompanija je imenovala kripto-milijardera Chun Wanga, poznatog po pionirskoj privatnoj misiji Fram2 iz 2025. godine.
Plan misije i krizni korak: prelet oko Meseca
Pre samog preleta oko Marsa, SpaceX planira da izvede privatni prelet oko Meseca. Taj let bi bio znatno bliži lunarnoj površini od nedavnog NASA-inog Artemis II—SpaceX je najavio da ciljaju približavanje manjе od 125 milja (oko 200 km) iznad površine.
Ko je Chun Wang?
Chun Wang je Malta-based preduzetnik koji je bogatstvo stekao u oblasti rudarenja bitcoina. Wang je u aprilu 2025. predvodio misiju Fram2 (1.–4. april 2025.), tokom koje je privatna posada u Dragon kapsuli postala prva koja je obletela Zemlju preko oba pola. SpaceX je objavio da će Wang voditi i mesečev i marsovski prelet ako misije budu realizovane.
Tehnički izazovi i Starship
Do sada Starship nije dostigao orbitu ni na jednom od 12 probnih letova. SpaceX radi na novoj verziji rakete, poznatoj kao V3, koja je dizajnirana da postigne orbitu i demonstrira dopunjavanje goriva u svemiru — ključnu sposobnost za letove dublje u Sunčev sistem.
NASA i lunarni lander: SpaceX je pod ugovorom sa NASA za razvoj konfiguracije Starship-a koja bi služila kao lunarni lander u okviru narednih Artemis misija. NASA planira moguća testiranja landera u Zemljinoj orbiti tokom Artemis III (2027) i eventualno sletanje u okviru Artemis IV (2028).
"Mars više neće biti daleko mesto, postaće stvarnost," rekao je Chun Wang u razgovoru sa predstavnikom SpaceX-a, ističući da misija može da probudi maštu i stvori zamah za dalji razvoj privatnog svemirskog putovanja.
Vremenski okvir i rizici
SpaceX nije objavio tačan vremenski okvir za ni lunarni ni marsovski prelet. Ranije najavljeni ciljevi, uključujući bezposadni let Starship-a do kraja 2026. kako bi se iskoristilo povoljnije orbitalno poravnanje prema Marsu, sada deluju manje verovatni. Glavni prepreke su postizanje orbite, pouzdano dopunjavanje goriva u svemiru i celokupna sigurnost posade na tako dugoj misiji.
Zaključak: Najava SpaceX-a predstavlja boldovan korak u pravcu komercijalizacije međuplanetarnih letova, ali pre nego što planovi postanu stvarnost, potrebna su dodatna tehnička dostignuća i potvrđeni testovi. Za javnost i industriju važni su sledeći testovi Starship V3 i dalji dogovori sa NASA.
