Administrator NASA Jared Isaacman iz helikoptera je izbliza pregledao štetu nastalu nakon eksplozije rakete New Glenn kompanije Blue Origin tokom predlansirnog testa 28. maja. Šta se dogodilo
Raketa New Glenn, teški lansirni sistem dug oko 98 metara (322 feet), eksplodirala je tokom takozvanog hot fire testa dok je bila potpuno sastavljena na rampi Launch Complex 36 na Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Niko nije povređen, ali je raketa u potpunosti uništena. Uzrok eksplozije još uvek se utvrđuje, a istraga i rad na proceni štete su u toku.
Inspekcija i razgovori na licu mesta
Isaacman je u objavi na društvenim mrežama naveo da je tokom leta helikopterom i razgovora sa timom inženjera imao priliku da direktno razgovara sa Jeffom Bezosom, osnivačem Blue Origina, i Daveom Limpom, izvršnim direktorom kompanije. Značaj za Artemis i komercijalne misije
