Po prvi put u 2026. godini, najveća i najmoćnija raketa kompanije SpaceX, Starship Verzija 3 (V3), poletela je na važan besposadni testni let koji ju je odveo do pola sveta.
Uloge su bile visoke: SpaceX ubrzava razvoj Starshipa za lunarna i međuplanetarna putovanja, a kompanija je pod pritiskom investitora i javnosti dok se priprema za moguću inicijalnu javnu ponudu (IPO).
Šta je poletelo i odakle
Let, koji je SpaceX označio kao "Let 12", poletio je 22. maja 2026. u 18:30 po istočnom američkom vremenu (ET) sa Starbase kompleksa u Teksasu. Ovo je bio prvi Starship testni let od oktobra 2025. i 12. lansiranje od aprila 2023.
Ovaj put lansiranje je izvedeno s nove rampe, Pad 2, opremljene unapređenim sistemom za skladištenje i punjenje goriva ("propellant farm") i bržim pumpama. Toranj ima i kraće mehaničke ruke za hvatanje boostera — nadimak "chopsticks" — koje su optimizovane za brže praćenje pri povratku.
Debi Verzije 3 i tehnički detalji
V3 je potpuno novi, trećegeneracioni prototip Starshipa, visine oko 124 m (407 ft) u kompletnoj konfiguraciji. Sustav se sastoji iz donjeg stepena Super Heavy (~72 m) i gornjeg stepena Starship (~52 m).
Super Heavy je bio opremljen sa 33 Raptor motora, dok je gornji stepen imao šest Raptor motora. Oba stepena su dobila značajna unapređenja uoči leta.
Tok misije i krajnji ishod
Booster je isporučio početni potisak pri polijetanju, ali zbog povišenih performansi ovog izdanja SpaceX nije pokušao da ga povrati na lansirno mesto. Tokom procedure delimičnog povratnog potiska (partial boostback burn) booster nije uspeo da ponovo upali motore i doživeo je tzv. "tvrdo prskanje" (hard splashdown) u Meksičkom zalivu — delu koji je u SAD spominjan i kao "Gulf of America" u kontekstu izvršnih odluka.
Gornji stepen je nastavio duži let: uprkos gubitku jednog motora tokom uspona, dostigao je planiranu balističku putanju, preleteo približno pola sveta i na kraju izveo manevar sletanja koji je završio eksplozijom pri dodiru sa vodom u Indijskom okeanu. SpaceX navodi da je tokom sletanja gornji stepen izveo "landing flip", paljenje za sletanje i konačno prskanje koristeći dva Raptor motora — što je bilo namerno testiranje granica ponovne upotrebljivosti.
U toku misije, Starship je uspešno lansirao 20 maketa satelita Starlink i dva modifikovana satelita koji su po prvi put snimili samu raketu tokom uspona.
Reakcije i značaj
Elon Musk je čestitao timu na X platformi nazivajući lansiranje i sletanje "epohalnim", dok su pojedini svemirski preduzetnici i saradnici, uključujući Jareda Isaacmana, takođe uputili čestitke. Ovaj let predstavlja važan korak u razvoju sistema za dopunjavanje goriva u orbiti — ključne sposobnosti za letove na Mesec i Mars.
SpaceX nastavlja da razvija Starship kao potpuno ponovo upotrebljiv transportni sistem sposoban da nosi teret i posade na daleke destinacije, kao i veće verzije Starlink satelita u nisku orbitu.
